Gypsum powder is an indispensable material in construction (drywall, cement retarders), agriculture (soil conditioning), and industrial sectors (paper coating, cosmetics). For medium to large-scale producers seeking high-efficiency, high-quality gypsum powder manufacturing. The MTW175 Trapezium Raymond Mill is an upgraded version of the traditional Raymond Mill, integrating advanced European milling technology with years of field-proven engineering. It is especially suitable for grinding non-metallic minerals with Mohs hardness below 9.3 and moisture content below 6%, such as gypsum, limestone, calcite, marble, talc, and barite.
• High Efficiency & Large Capacity: Advanced grinding roller design and optimized airflow system significantly improve grinding efficiency.
• Precise Fineness Control: Equipped with an intelligent classifier, the mill allows precise control of powder fineness from 80 to 400 mesh, meeting various industry standards for gypsum powder.
•Energy Saving & Low Operating Cost: The automatic lubrication system and durable wear parts extend maintenance intervals and lower operational costs.
•Environmentally Friendly & Dust-Free Operation: Integrated pulse dust collector and sealed airflow system ensure minimal dust emission, meeting environmental regulations.
•Stable Performance & Easy Maintenance: Constructed with high-quality materials such as alloy steel and wear-resistant parts, the MTW175 guarantees a long service life.
The production of gypsum powder using the MTW175 Trapezium Raymond Mill involves several key steps:
Gypsum stones or lumps are first transported to the feeding hopper via belt conveyor or bucket elevator. The material is then evenly fed into the MTW175 mill by a vibrating feeder to ensure a stable and continuous grinding process.
Inside the MTW175 mill chamber:
• The gypsum material is crushed between the roller and grinding ring under high-pressure centrifugal force.
• Multiple rollers rotate around the central shaft, grinding the material into fine powder as it moves along the grinding path.
• A built-in classifier controls the fineness of the final product by returning coarse particles for regrinding while allowing fine powder to pass through.
The finely ground gypsum powder is carried by the airflow from the blower into the cyclone collector and pulse dust collector, where it is separated and collected.
• The cyclone collector captures most of the fine powder.
• The dust collector ensures clean air discharge and minimizes environmental pollution.
The collected gypsum powder is discharged through the discharge valve, ready for packaging or further processing. The whole system operates in a closed-loop manner to maximize efficiency and minimize material loss.
• Tailored Configuration: Optimized jaw + cone/impact crusher combos for materials (hardness, moisture, size) and capacity (50–2,000 t/h).
• Smart Control: PLC automation for remote monitoring and self-adjustment (e.g., cone crusher discharge).
• Comprehensive Support: From planning to maintenance, ensuring long-term operational efficiency.
• Durable Parts & Upkeep: Premium wear parts (e.g., jaw plates, hammers) and proactive maintenance for sustained performance.
