During the cement production the final stage is known as finish milling, the clinker is ground with other materials into a fine powder, up to 5% gypsum and flyash is added to regulate the setting time of the cement. Other chemicals such as those which regulate flowability or air entrainment, may also be added. These materials are sent through ball or tube mills which perform the remaining grinding. The grinding process occurs in a closed system with an air classifier that divides the cement particles according to size, materials that has not been completely ground is sent through the system again.

Mixing material like flyash, if moisture is larger than 15%, need to add drying process to reduce it to <5%, then conveying to batching station.

According to mixing porporation, adjust the weight conveyor speed ratio to control clinker mixing affect.

Grinding system adopt closed circuit process, unqualitied powder particles return to re-ground.

Pollutiants and their controls: Meanwhile Baichy has successed sloved air pollution problems related to the raw material acquisiton, handling, calcination, grinding and transportation of portland cement by very fine particles in the product. No matter send the dust to the kiln creating the clinker, or using bag filters, equipment enclosures, etc.
